DonahueFavret Contractors, Inc. seeks a Director of Finance and Accounting, with 10(+) years of controller or leadership experience (preferably in Commercial Construction). Candidates should possess strong people skills and work as a liaison with all members of the team.

This position works closely with the Company’s President, Board of Directors, and Operations Team and is responsible for all financial aspects of our mid-size construction company. The ideal candidate will appreciate hands-on oversight of, or direct (and actively participate as necessary) accounting, financial reporting, work in process/job costing, budgeting, forecasting, job auditing/internal audit, cash management functions, and strategic financial initiatives.

Additional Job Duties include maintaining and reporting on Corporate Financials, auditing Costs of Good Sold for construction projects, recommending benchmarks for financial performance, calculating variances from the budget and reporting significant issues, and providing financial analyses for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.

The position reports directly to the President & CEO, and manages 3 direct reports.
