SMPS Southeast Louisiana Chapter hosted a panel discussion, "CLIENTS, CONTRACTORS, COST… OH MY!" centered around the project budget development process as it pertains to private-sector clients.
Bryan Hodnett, DonahueFavret's Vice President of Business Development, was one of three expert panelists representing the construction industry this morning. Lots of great discussion around the CMAR delivery process, its value in #designcollaboration, and how it factors into developing more accurate budgets early.
When asked about its value, Bryan said, "As projects are becoming more complex, you need to have that in-depth knowledge of the people who are building the project and the real-time efforts of a smart budgeting process. At the end of the day, we know the client is getting the best value for the project."
