Join us in celebrating the 26th Annual Women in Construction (WIC) Week, initiated by the National Association of Women in Construction, spotlighting the remarkable contributions of women in the construction industry since 1998, and growing stronger each year. This year's theme is "Keys to the Future," acknowledging the strength and knowledge of women who play a pivotal role in shaping the future of construction. As a company, DonahueFavret is proud to recognize outstanding women who contribute immensely to our industry and daily operations. Across the country this week, the National Association of Women in Construction and its local chapters celebrate Women in Construction Week with jobsite tours, community projects, and social events for chapter members and guests. Local chapters also request proclamations from their state and local officials.
DonahueFavret’s Wendy Jarred, and the Northshore Chapter President of NAWIC - Northshore Louisiana Chapter, were honored to receive a proclamation from St. Tammany Parish President Mike Cooper’s office. The proclamation recognizes the NAWIC Chapter 339 for its 33 years of steadfast support in advancing women in the construction industry, promotion of skilled trades careers, and impact on the Greater New Orleans area.#WICWeek2024
