Tulane University continues to transform its historic downtown campus, and we’re excited to continue our role in this pivotal work.
The university published an article yesterday highlighting this growth and its importance to both the university and the City of New Orleans.

“We began working in Tulane University’s Hutchinson Building back in 2021 with the renovation of a piece of the 5th floor,” says Justin Lyle, Preconstruction Project Manager for DonahueFavret. “In conjunction with Mathes Brierre Architects, the standard was raised for lab spaces on Tulane’s downtown campus with this project. Fast forward, and we’ve recently completed the 4th floor renovation in the former Tulane Hospital, which helped set the stage and facilitate the master plan to renovate the 7th floor and another piece of the 5th floor. Demolition is now underway on the 48,000-square-foot space that is the 7th floor, and preconstruction efforts are ending on the 5th floor. As we look ahead, our team is gearing up for what we know will be another successful volley of projects with our partners at Tulane University.”
