Enhancing education through the boathouse learning center project.
DonahueFavret Contractors has recently started construction of the Tulane University - Community Sailing Center New Orleans. Our preconstruction team performed design-assist services throughout the project design in order to achieve the owners desired budget. The ground-up multi-story building is constructed with deep foundations and structural steel elements. The façade is cement-board siding and storefront window openings.
The building will house offices and breakrooms for staff as well as multipurpose rooms for presentations. The first floor of the building will house a workshop to repair sailboats for the users of the facility. The project is scheduled for a Fall 2024 completion.
