High-level finishes contribute to the character of this hotel renovation.
Mercantile Hotel was a smaller project consisting primarily of the renovation of first floor public spaces including the bar, breakfast area, check-in, lounge and back of house offices. Retro-fitting of mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems on the first floor was critical to the modifications being made to the layout of the space. High level interior finishes including blackened steel bar shelving and faces, tin-clad doors, brushed tin ceilings, antique wood column and beam wraps and patina glazing can be seen throughout the space on South Peters. The total project value was approximately $900,000 and the total renovated footage was approximately 3,000 square feet.
